Civic Award 2015

The Pepper Pike Civil League offers to a qualifying high school senior the opportunity to receive a $2000 scholarship.  

Benjamin Weltman, Orange High School Senior, accepted the Annual $2000 Pepper Pike Civic League Scholastic Award from Civic League Vice President Reed King  at the April 21st  Pepper Pike Town Hall Meeting. The award is presented to a Pepper Pike resident who is a college-bound high school senior who met the competition’s criteria that demonstrated an interest in local government and submitted the winning essay. Benjamin, an honor student, holding many leadership positions in the numerous extracurricular and community activities. He focused on the need for a sense of community to gather people together and support of community activities in his prize-winning essay.
