Shahnaz Khan

Shahnaz Khan and her husband Qamar Khan have been residents of Pepper Pike since 1986 (Old Brainard Road). Their two children, now grown up, graduated from Orange High School. Shahnaz feels "its time to give back" to the community. Through active engagement with Pepper Pike Civic League she would like to support  the Pepper Pike community and promote collaboration with Orange Schools.

Shahnaz  migrated from India to United States in 1974 and went to Cleveland State University to get her MPA (Masters in Public Administration) degree. She holds a Masters in Political Science degree from Gorakhpur university, India. Shahnaz worked at TRW Inc. for over 20 years in the Management Information Systems department. More recently she served at Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services in various management and Senior IT Administrator roles within the DCFS Information Technology department.

Shahnaz enjoys painting, hiking and yoga. She volunteers at local community organizations.
