Civic Award 2016

Hanna Brinn of Hathaway Brown School, the winner of $2000.00 Civic Award is a natural leader. She is very active in her school and community activities.  She is a varsity golfer, student teacher at Hathaway Brown, and regularly babysits for families in the Pepper Pike community.
Hanna was the co-chair for Hathaway Brown School Annual Carnival and fundraiser. She has been the creator and president of the Rainbow program at Hathaway Brown. This program provides an opportunity for high School students to spend time with Early Childhood classroom. She has also been an active member of the GROW (Girls Reaching Out Worldwide) program. Hanna has been involved in Aruppe's Bigs & Littles program. This program provides Saint Ignatius High School and other area high school students an opportunity to be a mentor to a child and be a positive role model. Hanna is also an active member of the RACE team. The RACE is a student run, yearly event empowering children and their families to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
